12 Street Wings was named after the local nickname for Roosevelt Road where the bar/restaurant is located. It is a fantastic place to grab a few drinks, watch the game on one of it’s 20+ tv’s, and eat some of the best chicken wings around. Portions are large, and so is the flavor. All the usual sauces, plus a few unique to this local gem.
Co-owner, Gerry Logan, wanted a logo that screamed “Laid back sports bar with great chicken wings!”. And on top of that, he had this wonderful idea of a mascot that he dreamt up who would be called the Wingman. He’d love drinking beers, eating wings (we know), and watching sports. He had to be in the logo.
